Nicole Bruno, LMSW

Nicole Bruno, LMSW is a licensed master social worker in Arizona. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Minor in Communications, Certificate in International Studies and a Dual-Master’s Degree in Social Work and Public Administration from Arizona State University. Nicole has experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and alcohol/drug addiction issues in adolescent residential treatment centers, adult and adolescent acute psychiatric inpatient hospitals, home health medical social work, public child welfare and adult community outpatient centers. Nicole’s diverse interests in social work and caring for people gives her a wide range of experience in different settings and therefore has been exposed to many different populations. Nicole’s therapy style is based on CBT, solution focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and other alternative and healing modalities such as music therapy, dance therapy, pet therapy, expressive arts, yoga and drama therapy.

Nicole loves helping people transform their lives for the better and thus transforming the world as a whole. She helps people find meaning and purpose in their lives when they struggle to reconnect with who they really are in life. Nicole is passionate about her work in the community which involves violence prevention, awareness, and program development to help at-risk populations believe in themselves in order to rise above their struggles in life.
Nicole is also a dedicated yoga teacher in the community offering gentle and relaxing styles to heal the mind, body and spirit. Nicole loves teaching people whether in treatment and therapeutic settings or in a community yoga offering. Nicole offers free community classes to children at local community centers, shelters and low-income housing communities where she spreads and plants the seeds of knowledge and beauty that yoga can offer at such an early age to help children learn to self-regulate, control their emotions and learn to express themselves in a healthy and safe way.
