Robbin Brooks, MSW

Having over 35 years working directly and indirectly for the Criminal Justice System and in Human Services, Ms. Brooks recently retired from the Arizona State University’s School of Criminology & Criminal Justice (CRJ).  She also taught Social Work courses.  As an Educator, she has taught for over twenty-five years. Ms. Brooks also teaches at Community Colleges.

Ms. Brooks is often described as a visionary, expert presenter, creative program manager and effective strategic planner.   Previous work includes being the Director of Criminal Justice Interns, Faculty Associate, Statewide & Community Partnership Program Administrator for the AZ Department of Health Services, Ethnic Media Marketing Grassroots Consultant, Juvenile Probation Officer, Program Director, Grant Writer, Crisis Responder, and Clinical Social Worker.

Ms. Brooks is a strong supporter of “growing where you are planted!”  She is a strong advocate for community-based collaboration. Areas of expertise include: addictions, women’s issues, juveniles, domestic violence, community corrections/re-entry, strategic planning, diversity, and life skills.  Ms. Brooks serves on several committees, mentors women struggling with addiction, and connects community resources with those in need.
