Amy Ung

Amy Ung completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. She is a member of Psi Chi, an international honor society in psychology and is presently studying in a graduate level program to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Amy’s background is in community behavioral health. She mainly worked with foster and adoptive families and their children. Her passion is helping her patients to understand and overcome the issues they struggle with. She takes pride in the fact that she is able to provide a safe space for her patients to process their emotions. In her free time, she enjoys cooking new dishes, listening to true crime podcasts, and scouting out the best local ice cream places. Amy looks forward every day to serving her patients at Core Recovery and continues to learn as much as she can while doing so.
