Flori Duraku received her Medical Assisting Certification from Estrella Mountain Community College in 2018. She has been utilizing her training as a medical assistant for approximately three years. Flori’s proven knowledge of medical and clinical services, data analysis and patient health services are well utilized with our patients at Core Recovery.
Day to day at Core, Flori utilizes her skills and kind disposition to provide exceptional care for our patients by performing a wide variety of duties from front desk scheduling to back-office duties. She assists the team with patient scheduling, as well as aids our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by ensuring UAs are obtained, taking vitals for each patient, acting as a scribe, ordering both new and refill scripts, relaying information to patients, and performing medical data entry.
Being native to Arizona, Flori has a deep appreciation for and a sense of dedication to her community. As a first-generation Albanian American who grew up in her family’s local restaurant, she was able to learn about hard work, responsibility and developed the skill set needed to facilitate a warm and welcoming environment.
One of Flori’s personal goals in life is to travel the United States and visit each of our great national parks. As a true foodie, she is always on the hunt for tasty treats during her adventures!
