“Roni” Veroncia Fox worked with teens in Behavioral Health and chemical dependency for 10yrs prior to going back to school to become an RN. She worked as an RN for 12 years prior to graduate school. She graduated in 2010 from University of Arizona with her MSN degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During her MSN program, in addition to her NP education, she had her daughter, learned her son has autism, and learned about the effects of environmental toxins on health. Two weeks after starting her first job as an NP, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and spent the next year doing surgery, chemo, and radiation. As a result of her experiences during those 5 years, she has become passionate about mental health, integrative medicine, autism, nutrition, and organic and “whole food” eating.

After working for a few years as a Family NP, Roni realized there is a huge need for Psychiatric providers and went back to University of Arizona to complete her Family Psychiatric Mental-Health NP (PMHNP). She finished that program in 2015 and has since been providing psychiatric care for persons of all ages, with a special interest in children, teens, and those on the autism spectrum.

Roni believes that as human beings we can only achieve our fullest potential when we are in good health. Her view of health focuses on her patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; as well as their interactions with other people and their environment. As a healthcare provider she believes she should strive for her patients to attain their best possible health while taking into account their personal expectations and needs. This can only be done by partnering with her patients and working together towards their healthcare goals.
