Marilizabeth Birk

Marilizabeth Birk is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in psychiatric nursing and intensive outpatient therapy. She incorporates mindfulness and self-reflection with medication therapy and has experience treating depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and psychotic disorders in children, adolescents, and adults.

Marilizabeth completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at South College in Tennessee. She has worked with clients from coast to coast with cultural competence. Marilizabeth has a background in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and client-centered care, alongside medication therapy.
