Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program
Core Recovery’s Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program treats individuals struggling with a range of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and orthorexia.
Core Recovery’s Adult Eating Disorder IOP provides comprehensive, integrated care, between three and five days per week. Core Recovery’s clinical team includes therapists, psychiatric professionals, and registered dietitians with training and expertise in eating disorders, all of whom work collaboratively to meet the individualized needs of every patient.
Personalized & Compassionate Care
From the first day of treatment, the Core Recovery clinical team engages warmly, honestly, and empathetically with patients to learn about their eating disorders, medical history, and treatment history. Core’s clinical team then works with the patient to develop a customized treatment plan tailored to meeting that patient’s unique needs and personal goals. Individualized treatment plans include a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, diet and nutrition counseling, meal planning, supported meals, and psychiatric/medication management.
Evidence-Based Treatment Mentalities for Eating Disorders
Core Recovery’s Adult Eating Disorder IOP uses evidence-based modalities—with an emphasis on dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)—to provide patients struggling with eating disorders with the treatment they need to overcome their eating disorders in healthy and sustainable way.

Committing to Your Care, Together
Fitting treatment for an eating disorder into our busy schedules can be a challenge. That can be especially true at the IOP level of care, where patients attend programming between three and five days per week. At Core Recovery, we attempt to make programming convenient and accessible, by offering different options for adults and teens that are likely to fit with their work or school schedules.
At Core Recovery, we cannot make the decision to seek care for our patients. What we can do, however, is make a pledge to every patient that we will match the time, effort, and energy that they invest in their own treatment and recovery, and that their investment will rewarded by the transformation that they see in their mental and physical health.
